Well, it has been another fantastic day in paradise :)
When I opened my office blinds this morning, I was surprised by the beautiful flakes of snow floating from the sky.
Have you ever stopped to watch snow fall....to REALLY watch snow fall? It's sooo beautiful.
Anyways, I digress! Nyrk nyrk.
Did you know that 1 scoop of IsaGreens = 25 Organic Salads & 1 scoop of IsaFruits = 30 Organic Fruits? It's incredible! I LOVE ISAGENIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's no wonder me & my family haven't had a flu in two years.
My best friend and I had a phone conversation this morning in which we agreed that in order to change our circumstances, we must change something about what we're currently doing. If we keep doing what we've always done, we're going to keep getting what we've always gotten.
We are ready for a new start.
Every single day we wake up is a new day with new possibilities that await us. It's how we decide to seize the day that will shape our future.
I'd like to share a few of the things I have been doing differently with my eating habits since I made a commitment to myself and my entire IsaBabes team so that I would not let myself or them down during our IsaBody Challenge.
What I have been doing differently is the following:
- I now eat on a small plate, a bread plate.
- I eat using the small spoons and forks.
- I drink a min. of 96 oz. of water a day. (Should be drinking HALF your weight in ounces min. a day)
- I keep a food journal...and I blog it so that anyone and everyone can follow along with me on my journey and give feedback.
Keeping a food journal has been really, really great for me, and I recommend EVERYONE keep one. Especially the IsaBabes, because if someone is having what they think is a really good week but aren't seeing movement on the scale, we can look at what that person's been eating and discuss what might be hindering that person's progress.
So, please, if any of the IsaBabes are reading this post, try keeping a food journal and see what happens.
Besides the fact that keeping a food journal and blogging about it is good motivation for me to eat healthy, I feel a sense of RELIEF when I write down the night before exactly what my food plan is for the upcoming day.
It seems that since it's written down, it feels like it's written in stone. I committed to eating "this and that" for tomorrow, so be it. I feel in control of the next day, and I don't find myself thinking about other food as often.
I can't imagine how many times I think about food during the day. Probably as much as guys think about sex. Hahahha!
When the next morning comes, I wake up knowing "oh, it's 1.5 oz Ionix time, then choc. shake time, then......". I like that idea of scheduling my food.
When I think about dinner and all the choices that are out there, I don't get to daydreaming about a burger as much. I am on track, lazer focused.
Those are my thoughts and suggestions of the day. :)
